AHMED LARABA (Mr)

POSITION : Admitted to Bar in 1986, Doctor of law , Professor at University of Algiers; Guest Professor of various French Faculties of law. Professor of International law at the Faculty of law, the National Administration School (E.N.A.) and the National Magistrature Institute, Algiers. General in-house counsel of the Algerian Intellectual Property Rights Office (O.N.D.A) . Member of the International Arbitration Institute , Paris, France.

EDUCATION : Faculty of law of Algiers , University degree, 1969; Diploma of High Studies ( D.E.S.) in public law ,1970 ; Doctorate in law,1985. LANGUAGES : French, English and Arabic.

TEACHING TASKS : Teaching General International Law at the National Administrative School (E.N.A.), Algiers ; Law of the sea at the Faculty of law, Algiers and in the framework of Arbitral settlement of economic international disputes: the arbitral petroleum case-law ( la jurisprudence arbitrale pétrolière ) through the arbitral awards related to Aramco, Sapphire , BP. / Libya , Liamco / Libya , Texaco, Calasiatic /Libya , Agip / Congo, Aminoil , and Course on the Energy Charter of 1994. As a Guest Professor and Speaker, Mr. Laraba teaches on 'International economic disputes' at the University of Lyon II , France, 1998 to 2002 ; in the framework of International economic law : 'the World Trade Organization and International investment laws' at the University of Montpellier III, France, 2000 to 2002
